Working holiday visas: France age cap increases to 35 from 1 July 2019; more countries not needing government support

France will be the third country to have the age cap increased to 35 years of age for its nationals from 1 July 2019 for Subclass 417 – Working Holiday visas. Also, more countries will be exempt from requiring evidence of government support for Subclass 462 – Work and Holiday visas as well as adding Ecuador and Greece to the program.

Greece will be the 43rd nation to join Australia’s working holiday visa and cultural exchange program from 1 July 2019 with up to 500 places per year for Greek nationals with functional English and who have completed or are studying towards a tertiary qualification.
