Proposed changes to the skilled occupation lists by the Department of Jobs and Small Businesses were released yesterday. While the final decision rests with the Department of Home Affairs, it offers a key insight into what occupations may be at risk. Seventeen occupations have been recommended to be removed from the Short-Term Skilled Occupation List.
