The Philippines will be added to the subclass 462 – Work and Holiday visa program with 200 places available from 1 July 2024. A ballot system will commence for China, Vietnam, and Indian nationals for the same visa due to high demand.

The Minister made multiple announcements at the end of last week, signing off on two new DAMAs for Townsville and East Kimberley, amendments to the Orana and Far North QLD DAMAs as well as lifting the age cap to 35 years for Italians and Danish and adding Mongolia and Brazil to the working holidaymaker program.
