The Minister made multiple announcements at the end of last week, signing off on two new DAMAs for Townsville and East Kimberley, amendments to the Orana and Far North QLD DAMAs as well as lifting the age cap to 35 years for Italians and Danish and adding Mongolia and Brazil to the working holidaymaker program.

From 1 July 2022, any person who was in Australia for at least 12 months between 1 February 2020 and 14 December 2021 and who is or becomes a primary 482 visa holder in the Short-term stream will have a pathway to a 186 visa.
