From 1 July 2022, any person who was in Australia for at least 12 months between 1 February 2020 and 14 December 2021 and who is or becomes a primary 482 visa holder in the Short-term stream will have a pathway to a 186 visa. Pharmacists are added to the PMSOL, expanding the list to 44 occupations. New regulations see WHMs not able to claim employment from “excluded” employers, and temporary parent visa holders offshore as of 1 July 2021 will have their visas automatically extended by 18 months.
